I'm letting everyone know that based on the silly dramatics that our gaming brotherhood is taken ( ex. the recent entry of two members w/o the consent of anyone except for ones self ). I think I will be taking a leave from the whole Steam thing since we clearly can't keep each other posted on simple friend invites. Figure some shit out gentlemen. Call me if you wanna talk.

Let me get this straight
So this is all in reaction to Alex joining BYA as Goose? I don't understand why this is such a big deal, aside from not everyone getting asked about it (or, like me, even told about it). I'm personally not upset since 1) Alex is cool, 2) I haven't played since winter break, 3) I don't see what the big deal is. Maybe I'm just missing something here, but I don't think this is something to get upset about.

this shit came out because no one defined anything within the group (what i was trying to get out off us my last post) and just took the liberty to do whatever they wanted with it. if we had a vote i would have kept it just us, but rooster acted without asking (colt) so did mallard (goose) and so did i (danihel). in rooster's eyes it seems only he can do whatever he wants (cause your an admin right? is that why you STRAIGHT UP DENIED ME ADMIN STATUS? SO YOU COULD HAVE SOME KIND OF EXECUTIVE BULLSHIT POWER [BULLSHIT]?) either way, if we are gonna say this and that after the fact we should have said it before.

would like to say that some of us did talk about adding colt before we went and did it. it really didnt seem like that much of a big deal back then. i mean the ones who did act on it (myself included) were playing with him more than we were with half of the group at that time too.
and about the admin thing. we cant appoint any new ones. ive tried. and plus being an admin just gives us a little star by our names anywhoo. there is no power that comes with it. we cant even kick anyone. i can however make events, posts, and appoint a player of the week but who cares about that bullshit. all it is is a bigger desk with all the same paperwork.

I think the only people here who've ever been in a REAL competitive GAMING clan is Nico and I.
We were both on our way to playing in CAL (CyberAthlete League for you noobs). Unfortunately, we were both in high school and it just couldn't happen (I WISH I got paid for playing owning...)
There is no leadership in this so called "clan".
The ADMINS OF THE STEAM BYA USERGROUP ARE NEVER PRESENT; MALLARD, BOAR, AND ROOSTER don't even PLAY TF2, except for Llama so I don't understand why they get admin privileges in the Steam group. Squirrel and I have talked about this in the past and it is a load of bullshit, but we're not going to cry or start drama about it.
To be honest, I just see it as a position of power to feel good about oneself (I'm looking at you
NelsSAM.)Really, the only constant TEAM-ORIENTED players are Colt, Lamb, Llama (on occasion) and I. Goose hopped on and he was playing consistently and seemed to be eager to do some teamwork. Ground Squirrel I know would be down if our tastes in maps played matched, as well as if his rig didn't hold him back.
Rooster I don't know what your excuse is for not playing, but I'm sure you've got plenty. You complain of "lag" when your machine is clearly more capable than Ground Squirrel's and he puts in more time than you do. Hell, all the people(Lamb, Squirrel, Goose) who had/have shittier machines play more than you did even after you spent $200 on a new video card.
I'm honestly tired of all the excuses.
Sorry I can't be perma-medic for you, but you have to realize it's a TEAM game.
So guys, stop acting like this is a real gaming clan. Because it's not.
And we don't need a "clan" facade to represent our real life "brotherhood" because that's what it's looking like to me, just a front.

I really don't see what the problem is. Most of you guys have played with Alex before and most of us met Ryan before he was introduced.
Other than Luke, I really haven't seen anyone having any problem with this. It's one thing to introduce a friend most of us know, but it's another thing to bring in some guy from the internet.

i don't think its my place to say this, but i'll say it anyway...
i was butthurt you didnt ask for all of our thoughts on including him (goose).. seeing as you dont play many steam based games anymore, we (active players) are the ones who are going to be playing with him... though, after talking to you and members about his history with yall', i can understand why he was sent an invite... and i can see how you didnt think it would be an issue.
that being said, i feel the members reactions from this event do not seem conducive to righting the ship.. whether it be changing names, leaving steam for awhile, inviting your own friends, and leaving the group... and for those who've i talked to already about their recent actions, i respect and UNDERSTAND what you're doing.
i'm bummed this is happening and would like for the group to return to at least a semi-state of normalcy. if there is anything i can do to help, lemme know.
