B.Y.A. Studios All we need is a cow...

There are a few updates/issues I wanted to bring everyone up to speed on.

First off I wanted to point out that we now have a forum! It's located in the "BYA Forum" section of the "BYA Menu" so feel free to go over and give it a test run. Keep in mind though that the default Drupal forum module is very, very shitty. It looks exactly the same and has all of the same problems we already have. Because of this Chris is looking into/tying to install separate forum software on the site. This would all remain the same, we would just link to a non-Drupal part of the server for the forum. For those of you that want to see a sample forum post w/ comments, http://byastudios.com/drupal/node/332#comment-296.

There have also been some issues with the Activity Stream. As Joe has pointed out it kind of tends to not update itself. As far as we can tell this is an issue with cron.php. Activity Stream relies on cron.php refreshing to update itself. We are looking into setting it up to refresh cron.php automatically once every hour or so, but until then we will just have to do it manually. To do that you would basically just go to http://byastudios.com/drupal/cron.php, let it load all the way (it's a blank screen), and then refresh the main page. So for the time being, if you go to the page and it looks like the Activity Stream is laggin' behind, just follow those steps.

Now on a different note, I've noticed that usage has dropped dramatically. After pondering how to get people back on I realized that we never really had a discussion on what people wanted on the site. With this in mind, lets get to talking!

What would you guys like to see from the site in the coming months? Any big features (music/movie hosting)? Any little annoyances that you would like to see fixed (comments that go in a logical order)? Throw it out there! Let's hear some complaints/suggestions!
